Content intelligence

The latest photoshop Elements 2018 relies on what adobe calls ‘content intelligence’ for many new features. This is an analysis of images that recognises the content within, and it’s utilised everywhere. The Open Eyes tool, for example, can detect faces automatically (most of the time) and even searches the organiser for similar faces. The new auto-selection tool also employs this technology - it doesn’t just seek edges based on changes in contrast or colour, but also by recognising the targeted object itself. similarly, the Elements Organiser’s ‘auto curate’ feature categorises your photo library by analysing the content - it even chooses the best ones for you.
