Go-faster printers can save you time
When you’re creating a prized photo print to last a lifetime, it might seem inconsequential whether a printer takes a matter of seconds or a few minutes to complete the job: especially compared to using an online lab. However, if you need to print several or even dozens of prints, the time soon adds up and, with slower print speeds, you can seem like you’re literally watching paint dry. As a rule, dye-based printers are a lot faster than pigment-based printers, and there’s the added advantage that prints tend to be touch-dry as soon as they land in the output tray.
