ART AT HOME WHY NOT PRINT YOUR PHOTOS

By following our techniques you can get some great images ideal for printing

COLOURFUL PAINT splash images are ideal for printing and framing. We printed ours using a Canon PIXMA ip7250 printer, which is available for only £50. Make sure you use Canon ink cartridges (£12.50 each) and select the High Print Quality setting to obtain the best prints. Choose the correct-size print paper to suit your photo ratio/ dimensions. We cropped our image in Photoshop, and also rotated it 180-degrees for the print. Bear in mind that vibrant RGB colours on screen may appear less saturated when printed as CMYK. Use top-quality print paper, we used 5x7in and 8x10in Fotospeed PF Lustre 275gsm, which offers a lovely matt finish that also reduces reflections.
