When would you change movie servo AF speed on the EOS 80D? Surely you want the focus to change rapidly?

Brian Says… If you choose Flexizone single AF point, then you can change focus from one part of the frame to another by simply tapping the touchscreen LCD. Movie servo AF settings determine how rapid the change of focus is between the different subjects. Film makers call the technique focus pulling. The camera can automate focus pulling, with control over the speed of change from one subject to the next.
On the EOS 80D you can choose to have the camera rapidly change focus when not actually recording, but move focus slowly and smoothly when you are recording. There are two faster speed choices, and seven slower speeds for more gradual focus changes.
