Can I use my old EOS film lenses with my new EOS 6D camera?

Brian Says… You can use any EF mount lens on your EOS 6D. You may find that their optical performance will be more apparent, especially at the edges of the frame. Remember that film photographers rarely saw the edge few millimetres of their images.

Make sure that the lenses you use are added to the camera’s lens aberration correction database. You can use EOS Utility to add lenses, if not already in the camera database.

Get the best from your older EF lenses by updating lens correction data for them
