Switch to manual

FOR ULTIMATE control over exposure settings, switch to Manual mode. You can still use the camera’s metering modes, and the viewfinder’s exposure level indicator. You’ll need to switch to Manual mode when using studio flash heads. Preferred settings are often a shutter speed of 1/125 sec, at f/8. You then adjust the power of the flash heads until you achieve a correct exposure.
