Focus stacking

-

sometimes it’s not possible to achieve frontto-back sharpness in a single image. there are a few options to address this. We can fix the camera to a tripod, then take a series of shots, adjusting the focus point slightly after each, until we’ve captured sharpness across the subject. once done, we can use editing software like photoshop or helicon focus, to automatically combine the sharp parts. Begin by focusing on the point closest to the camera, then switch to Manual focus. take a shot and then rotate the focus ring slightly and take another, repeat until the whole scene has been captured sharply.
