converted dslr Companies (such as Kolari Vision) will convert your Canon so it only receives infrared light. This is done by replacing the IR blocking filter with one that blocks the visible light hitting the sensor. It’s a permanent conversion, so it’s best for an old or spare camera.

To give images an instant black and white infrared look, go to Layer>new Adjustment Layer> Channel Mixer. Select the Black and White Infrared Preset. The final effect can be convincing, provided that you use the right starting shot.
