DISTORTION

There’s not much to worry about here, but some lenses are, as you’d expect, better than others

As you’d expect from a group of prime lenses with focal lengths between 45mm and 85mm, there’s little distortion. For barrel distortion, the two Canon 50mm are the worst offenders. The amount is similar in both cases, and much less than from a typical standard zoom lens at its shortest focal length. The Canon 85mm f/1.8 and Tamron 45mm produce less barrel distortion, whereas the Tamron 85mm gives negligible pincushion and the Canon 85mm f/1.4 shows more. Both Sigma lenses are virtually free of distortion.
