Water spray

“I ALWAYS have water to hand to spray creatures,” says David Southard. “Water drops on the skin look really good through the macro lens, and they also stimulate behaviour – the gecko will use its tongue to lick its eyes to dry them off, which can make for some images showing their behaviour.”
