Is there an alternative way to move the AF point on the Canon EOS R?

BRIAN SAYS… EOS R and EOS RP have an alternative to touch and drag AF to move the AF point whilst using the viewfinder. Configure the up, down, left & right cross key buttons on the back of the camera as direct AF point selection buttons. Go to the customize buttons and select direct AF point selection for one of the cross key buttons, and all are changed. Then just press the buttons to move the AF point around the focus area, it’s helpful if you’re wearing gloves.
