I have an EOS 800D with the kit lens, what other lens would you suggest to add for travel photos?

BRIAN SAYS… The 18-55mm kit lens is a good general lens for travel, but next lens to buy may depend on where you want to travel. For more open spaces and countryside a wide-angle lens with a 10mm to 20mm range would be ideal to get more of the scene in the frame – Canon’s EF-S 10-18mm IS STM lens is a good compact wide-angle. If your travel is more for cities, then I think a longer lens, either a zoom, such as the 55-250mm, or a fixed focal length prime lens with a faster max aperture. A good option is the EF 100mm f/2 USM or one of the EF 100mm f/2.8 macro lenses.
