THE WINNERS ARE...
APS-C: Tamron 10-24mm f/3.5-4.5 Di II VC HLD Full-frame: Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM | A
For APS-C cameras, the Tamron 10-24mm is the most sophisticated lens for landscapes, with advanced AF and stabilization systems and the best quality of construction, which includes weather-seals. It’s an excellent lens that beats all other options for performance and image quality. On a budget, the Canon EF-S 10-18mm is an attractive lightweight option, with effective image stabilization. If you want a faster aperture, the
Tokina 11-20mm works well, delivering an f/2.8 aperture rating throughout its entire zoom range. For full-frames, our choice is the Sigma 14-24mm, which combines ace image quality with pro-grade build quality and superb performance. However, its integral hood precludes the easy attachment of filters. The same goes for the Samyang XP 14mm manualfocus prime lens. If you want a prime lens for landscapes, the Irix 15mm is a better choice.
