BRIAN SAYS… It’s not currently compatible with your EOS 70D, but updates have added camera support in the past, so keep checking.

BRIAN SAYS… I’m surprised that the camera came with a remote, as it lacks the connection for a wired remote, and also doesn’t have the infra-red receiver to work with the wireless RC-6 type remote. Your can use the Canon Camera Connect app with a smartphone, or computer with EOS Utility and USB cable.

What do I need to do to connect my EOS 760D to my computer and use EOS Utility with a USB cable? Adria Nugent, Dedham

BRIAN SAYS… EOS 760D cannot provide Wi-fi and USB connections at the same time. You’ll need to go in to the camera Set-up 1 menu, and disable the WI-FI/NFC to allow the USB port to operate. Once you do this, then EOS Utility will detect the connected camera.
