Macro lenses for sharpest shots

“MY FAVOURITE lens for small animal photography is my Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro lens, which is sharp as a tack and does everything I ask of it. It’s looking rather old and battered now, and doesn’t have IS like the newer L-series version that Robin uses, but it’s so good that I know I’ll hesitate when it comes to replacing it. I also use a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6l IS II USM lens and a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4l IS lens, but the 100mm Macro is still my lens of choice,” explains Miles.
