MAGNIFICENT MARSTON MEMORIES

Looking back at the first Redemption’s biggest OMG moments

-

05 ATTACK ON FORT MERCER

John concludes his adventures in New Austin by attacking his former friend Bill Williamson’s fortress, with a little help from his allies… and a dirty great minigun. A savage, sweeping set piece with a Wild West twist on the Trojan Horse.

04 PARAÍSO LOST

Nuevo Paraíso is Redemption’s tribute to Monument Valley. Arizona’s most iconic landmark has graced many a classic Western, and RDR’s take on it is spectacular. Ride to the top of its buttes at sunrise for an unforgettable view.

03 RIDING INTO MEXICO

After surviving a riverside ambush on a rickety barge, John is welcomed to Mexico with a moment of quiet wonder. As he rides into this foreign land, Jose Gonzales’ haunting Far Away builds to a spine-tingling crescendo. Musical magic.

02 JOHN’S LAST STAND

Redemption’s final act bucks the triple-A trend, ditching escalating set-piece spectacle in favour of quiet character-building. After returning to ranch life and his family, John is betrayed by government agents and brutally slain. Heartbreaking.

01 JACK’S REVENGE

The ‘secret’ final mission sees Redemption sign off with one of the great endings. After taking control of Marston’s son years after his death, you lethally confront John’s killer. Rarely has a game closed with such a cathartic parting shot.
