Our most anticipated, and why
Ian EDITOR GRIP
If WipEout was the Ibiza superclub of ’90s racing games, all foam parties and tans, Rollcage was its underground kid brother. It was raw, brutal and fast… very fast. And it looks like Grip is the closest I’ll get to my driving-on-theceiling physics-based racing fix on PS4, and I’m happy with that. Just leave Fatboy Slim off the guest list.
Milford ART EDITOR WIPEOUT OMEGA COLLECTION
In my eyes, WipEout is PlayStation. It was the game I bought with my PS1 all those years ago, and this remastered collection of PS3’s WipEout HD & Fury DLC, along with the Vita’s 2048, is going to be an essential purchase for me. Super smooth, 4K racing is going to make this slicker than a greased greyhound.
Mim OPERATIONS EDITOR PARAPPA THE RAPPER
I never played PaRappa the first time round, but I’m keen to give it a go. The soundtrack has been played so often in the office, I feel like I already know the tunes – and they’re massive earworms, so I’m hoping that playing the game will get them out of my head and back on PS4, where they belong. All together: “Kick, punch, it’s all in the mind…”

FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE I’m still yet to play this piece of PlayStation history, so it makes sense to hold out for the luxurious-looking remake. It’s good news for my short attention span too, as the new combat system looks more far more action-packed. Plus, have you seen the strand-bystrand detail on Cloud’s remade ’do? Drool.
ben STAFF WRITER RESIDENT EVIL 2: REMAKE
When Capcom’s seminal survival horror first graced PlayStation, I was six years old. The prospect of seeing how Leon’s life as chief zombie asskicker starts has me salivating like a member of the undead chowing down on warm brains. My fingers are crossed that it incorporates the lessons learned from the masterful Resi VII.
