We’ve missed Chloe Frazer. Badly. The Aussie asskicker was the breakout star of Uncharted 2, and her absence was sorely felt in A Thief’s End. Suffice to say, her reappearan­ce in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has been warmly met. The new expansion debuted with a barnstormi­ng trailer at last December’s PlayStatio­n Experience, and now we finally have more details on what’s likely to be the final piece of Uncharted content Naughty Dog ever produces.

Here are the CliffsNote­s: The Lost Legacy takes place roughly six months after Uncharted 4. Chloe Frazer has headed to India to find a relic her father was once obsessed with. Nadine Ross – last seen kicking Nate and Sam Drake’s collective keesters – has joined forces with Ms Frazer in a bid to make her fortune. While Naughty Dog has confirmed the expansion will be longer than Left Behind (The Last Of Us’ fabulous story DLC), it’ll be shorter than Uncharted 4.

“It’s not this epic, big sprawling multi-relationsh­ip thing,” creative director and co-writer Shaun Escayg tells Game Informer. “It’s a focus on Chloe, Nadine, and our antagonist, and this one location in India.” Naughty Dog is keen to emphasise this is a more grounded, personal narrative than Uncharted normally presents. To match this intimate tale, the franchise’s globehoppi­ng antics have been ditched to focus on a single location, one that is tied to Chloe’s heritage.

PASSAGE TO INDIA

While Frazer is an Aussie – actress Claudia Black plays her with an Australian accent – the fortune hunter is of Indian descent. Unlike Drake’s far reaching, disparate expedition­s, Chloe shares a deep connection with the locations she explores in The Lost Legacy.
