Assassin’s Creed Origins – The Curse Of The Pharaohs

This DLC is wrapping up to be dead good

-

After a canonical story follow-up in previous DLC pack The Hidden Ones, where else is there to go for Origins? Why, it’s time to dive head-first into Egyptian mythology and beat back the undead, naturally. You must venture into Thebes and uncover the mystery behind an ancient curse that has befallen the area. But it’s not just any old zombies plaguing Thebes. It’s up to you to discover why a group of Pharaohs has been resurrected.

Alongside the historical heirs, you’ll have to strike back against your fair share of Egyptian beasts, as seen above. This expansion also raises the level cap to 55 and grants you a new wardrobe, including never-before-seen outfits and weapons all keeping with the mythological theme. The Curse Of The Pharaohs is available as part of the Season Pass but can also be bought separately.

On top of the two paid DLC packs, there’s an array of free content available for Assassin’s Creed Origins. The Trials Of The Gods, thanks to a glitch in the Animus, pits you against bosses that will prove a real test of your combat mettle. A new quest, Incoming Threat, forms the prelude for The Hidden Ones DLC and, last but not least, there’s the educational Discovery Tour mode, allowing you to explore Ancient Egypt free of skirmishes or time pressures.

IT’S NOT JUST ANY OLD ZOMBIES PLAGUING THEBES BUT A GROUP OF RESURRECTED PHARAOHS.
