LEGO THE INCREDIBLES

Two players, one Pixar license, and thousands of Lego blocks

-

The Incredibles is one of Pixar’s most-loved films, and was outMarveling Marvel back when Blade Trinity was a thing. So Lego The Incredibles, a new game based around the most memorable scenes from the original movie, due for release 13 July, has us eager to start collecting studs.

Now consider TT Games is including scenes and events from the highly anticipated sequel – out in timely fashion to coincide with this game’s release – and we’re already planning our Frozone cosplay [ speakforyourself – ed].

By embracing two-player co-op in the main campaign, we’re told this new Lego adventure will focus on needing to work closely together to solve puzzles and fight crime in locations such as Municiberg and Nomanisan Island. A large hub world, likely Metroville, will serve as a link to new missions.

Learning how best to use the family’s combinations of dazzling superpowers will offer scope for experimentation. As a recap: Mr. Incredible has super strength and limited invulnerability; Mrs. Incredible can stretch her body; Violet Parr can turn invisible and create a psychic shield bubble; Dashiell Robert Parr can run at super speeds.

As with other Lego games, this new release will feature oodles of blocks and kits to collect and build – Lego’s real super power.
