Something very special for you and your player two is releasing this upcoming Valentine’s day: Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. Collecting together everything from the original release, the Arcade Edition, and a boatload of DLC, this is a fighter with an heavyweight amount of content.

costumes and 34 stages as well as a roster of 40 fighters are all present and accounted for. This edition also heralds the return of Gill, the leader of the mysterious Secret Society and the man with fantastic flowing golden locks plus two-toned buns of steel. He’ll reveal himself fully in the Champion Edition but will also be purchasable separately for £4.99.

Capcom is also keen to stress that all DLC characters and Fighting Chance costumes can still be bought using in-game currency earned through playing the game normally. You’ll also always be given access to all balance updates and new game modes for free no matter which version of Street Fighter V you have.
We gave both the base release of Street Fighter V and the Arcade Edition 9/10 when we reviewed them, but we’re hoping this is the last all-bells-and-whistles rerelease we’ll be covering… at least this side of the decade.
