MARVEL’S AVENGERS
For someone who’s been a lifelong comic nut I need to play Marvel’s Avengers. Through Ms. Marvel’s eyes we’ll remeet Iron Man, Cap, Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor as she gets the team back together. A Destiny-inspired action RPG set across multiple locations, sprinkled with cameos from Marvel’s comics, free DLC, and a multi-year story arc? Oh go on then, sign me up.

THE LAST OF US PART II
An obvious choice it may be, but I really can’t wait to see what Naughty Dog has come up with this time. Admittedly the trailers so far do look increasingly bleak for Ellie, Joel, and co, but I can’t help but think it will, er… all work out for the best in the end! Come on Naughty Dog, send PlayStation 4 out in style.

YAKUZA: LIKE A DRAGON
The Yakuza series has always appealed to me, but when it comes to fights I’m a party animal, so the news that Yakuza: Like A Dragon will feature turn-based party battles sent it right to the top of my wishlist. And summon flocks of pigeons without a bag of chips? I’m in!

CYBERPUNK 2077
Anything by the developers of The Witcher 3 would already get a pass in my book, but it looks like Night
City is really shaping up to be an iconic videogame setting. I can’t wait to begin exploring and spend way too much time customising my V, and ignoring Keanu Reeves’ pleas to make progress in the main story by taking on a heap of side-quests. Look out for me cruising the streets.

VAMPIRE: THE MASQUERADE: BLOODLINES 2 Is it any surprise that the LARPer can’t wait to explore Hardsuit Labs’ dark vision of Seattle? I can’t wait to see how the push and pull between the assorted clans and factions vying for dominance of the historic city plays out… or just what secrets may be hiding in plain view during a second run as a Malkavian.
