Uka, Uka…
One of the first games I ever reviewed was Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, and 19 years later Sony’s mascot, and Naughty Dog, are still making headlines. In Crash’s case, he’s never looked better. I wonder if I could get remade with improved fur and a winning smile? Picking up the pad this month and playing Crash again reminded me just why I love games: the humour, the challenge, the invention.
This issue’s fuzzy nostalgia doesn’t end at Crash, as we take a closer look at the remakes, remasters and reboots heading to PS3 and Pro this year. If the return of Final Fantasy VII, PaRappa and God Of War can’t excite your game-buds then only an injection of pure PlayStation goodness can save you. So, quickly, turn to page 6 to discover all the new details on Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Naughty Dog started my PlayStation journey, and it’s still inspiring me to this day.
