1The neon ‘Pink Bot’ sign in the background is a reference to a similar neon sign in Sega’s classic Streets Of Rage, which read ‘Pine Pot’.

2The ‘Club Spin’ sign references the huge Japanese Club Sega arcades that were a Mecca for ‘90s gamers, Tokyo’s has over 200 arcade machines.

3TV sets broadcast red, green and blue stripes. These are similar to the coloured blobs used on the official Sega Game Gear logo. Small world.
