SUPER STARDUST HD

Housemarque takes a running jump at PS3 – and later, PSP – with its unique three-dimensional shooter. The first 3D game for the console to run at 720p and 60fps, it’s well-received by gamers and critics alike (we give it 8/10).

2013

RESOGUN

The studio’s next twin-stick, twitch-based gem kicks off PS4’s launch in some style. It’s generally agreed to be PS4’s best launch title (this time, it gets a 9/10 from us).

2017

NEX MACHINA

Housemarque’s newest blaster on the block is, er, on blocks. Levels are series of flat arenas. Destructible environmental hazards, tons of secrets, savage AI and persistent voxels to splash about in mean it’s pushing the genre to its technical limit. (Can it keep up that score trajectory, though..?)
