E3 SHOWFLOOR VERDICT

Of course we loved it – it’s Uncharted. While the focus on Chloe and Nadine promises a very different dynamic to the buddy-movie vibe of Uncharted 4, characters have long been a strong point of the series, and these two look every bit as engaging as Nate and Sam. The trailer seems to promise a return to some of the grand puzzle elements that were less apparent in Uncharted 4 – eat your heart out, Lara Croft – in between the duo’s bickering and adventuring. And they’ve plenty of space for puzzling and quarrelling, because the levels we’ve seen are immense. This is going to be an awfully big adventure.
