It's a wash

Outside of the kitchen, the laundry is the hardest working room in the house. Make sure it’s up to the task with a functional, elegant washing machine from Asko.

Depending on how many people live under your roof, there’s a great variety in how many loads of washing you might get through in an average week. Be it two or 10, we probably don’t realise just how much we rely on our washing machine until there’s a bug in the system. And admittedly, we all have our pet peeves when it comes to laundry time. The clever designers at Asko realised this, and set to righting some of the more obvious wrongs when they developed the brand’s newgeneration range of washing machines.

Less noise and vibration

It’s a common complaint: even from the next room, washing machines can be too loud and disruptive to run at quieter times of the day or night. Asko machines feature unique Quattro Construction, with the inner and outer drum resting on shock absorbers. This means that spinning causes next to no vibration.

A more hygienic seal

Dirt and bacteria can collect around the rubber seal of washing machines, resulting in bad odours, unattractive discolouration and extra cleaning. In Asko washing machines, a maintenance-free Steel Seal replaces the traditional rubber bellow so there’s simply no space for dirt to accumulate. Problem solved.

Larger door for easier loading

Small washing machine doors and big piles of washing do not mix well. Clothes can get caught on the rubber bellow and it makes loading and unloading difficult, which is particularly trying for large families who wash multiple times a day. Asko washers are designed with a large 307mm porthole and, thanks to the Steel Seal, there’s no rubber seal to catch clothes as they are loaded in and out.

Specialised program modes

Individual fabrics often require specific care, so Asko washers feature pre-programmed wash modes to make it easier for you to keep clothes and linens in good condition. Modes include Dark Wash to help prevent detergent spots on fabrics, Bedding for pillows and bulky items, and Quick Pro, which is faster but still as effective as cycles that last longer than an hour.
