Smart Smoothies
NutriBullet has embraced the smart home revolution, by integrating several high-tech features within its ‘Balance’ blender, including Bluetooth connectivity and app control – say hello to smart smoothies.
The Californian giant has become a household name for powerful compact blenders, producing fast fruit or veggie smoothies packed full of nutrients.
Now, NutriBullet has taken things to the next level, allowing users to easily gauge the nutritional level of smoothies, straight from their smartphone.
After Bluetooth syncing with the NutriBullet app, users are advised whether they’ve added too much, or too little of each ingredient.
Functionality is courtesy of smart scales integrated within the Balance blender.
With hundreds of recipes within its app database, users can choose recipes based on their health goals – e.g. weight loss, high protein. For added convenience, users can input ingredients currently in their fridge or pantry into the Balance app, to prompt several suitable recipes.
For the health conscious, the app summarises how many calories, carbs, fat or protein a users’ smoothies contain across a day, week or month.
Sorted by health and flavour, recipes are designed by dieticians and easily filter ingredients according to personal preference – e.g. gluten free, lactose intolerant, vegetarian.
Despite added tech smarts, the NutriBullet Balance retains its bullet cyclonic mechanical action to ensure smoothies are super… smooth.
The 9-piece NutriBullet Balance blender (A$279.99) accompanies a powerful 1,200 watt base, and ships with several accessories including cups and lip rings.
