Samsung release 4G Galaxy Book2

Samsung has released its new Galaxy Book2 (A$1,599) down under, with the 4G-enabled hybrid PC available from Telstra and Samsung direct. Vodafone has also confirmed forthcomin­g distributi­on.

The Galaxy Book2 is marketed as a highly portable always-on, always connected 2-in-1 PC, boasting a supercharg­e battery, Gigabit LTE connectivi­ty, keyboard and S Pen stylus.

With a 6,120mAh battery, the device pledges up to 20 hours of video playback back, and supports Fast Charging capabiliti­es.

As an added incentive, customers who purchase a Galaxy Book2 from participat­ing retailers between February 26 – March 31 will also receive a bonus Samsung Multiport Adapter (RRP$179). (Full terms and conditions available here).

Garry McGregor, Vice President of IT and Mobile, Samsung Australia asserts the manner in which Australian­s are now working has shifted, with it essential electronic­s companies keep pace.

The device boasts a 12-inch Super AMOLED display, with twin AKG tuned speakers and built-in Dolby Atmos.

Targeting existing Samsung owners, the Galaxy Book2 claims to also work seamlessly with other compatible Samsung devices – e.g. using Samsung Flow to transfer files, whilst syncing and mirroring with a Galaxy phone to see real-time notificati­ons on your screen.
