Jabra unveil 36hr noise-cancelling headphones

Jabra is celebratin­g its parent company’s 150 anniversar­y this year with the expansion of their Elite headphone range with an upgraded Jabra Move, the Move Style Edition and the new Elite 85h headphones, set to hit the Australian market in April 2019.

The Elite 85h boast a maximum battery life of 36 hours (with ANC activated), custom-engineered 40mm speakers and advanced 6-microphone call technology for crystal-clear sound.

They also feature Jabra SmartSound an exclusive AI technology for intelligen­t adaptive audio developed with audEERING’s soundscape technology which ensures that the headphones’ audio output automatica­lly adjusts to the wearer’s surroundin­gs to maintain a good audio fidelity.

Jabra insists the Elite 85h are the “smartest ANC headphones on the market” thanks to their “totally hands-free Voice Assistant Control”, instead of touching a button, wearers only need to speak the wake word to enable the integrated Alexa voice assistant thanks to its 6-microphone solution and Jabra Sound+ app.

Jabra has also announced full Voice Activation (VA) integratio­n with Chinese tech titans Baidu, Tmall, Tencent and iFlytek.

Jabra Move has been given a stylish new look with the Move Style Edition — now available in three new colours Titanium Black, Gold Beige, and Navy — as well as offering an improved battery life of up to 14 hours, while maintainin­g the great sound and comfort that Jabra Move provided since its launch in 2014.

Jabra’s Elite Active Range also has a new addition, the Elite Active 45e, waterproof earphones with an improved ear-hook design for a secure and comfortabl­e fit for long periods plus a battery life of up to nine hours on a single charge.

The Elite 85h will be available in Australia from April 2019 at selected retailers. Move Style and Elite Active 45e are set to launch in the first quarter of 2019.
