If ever a bike manufacturer was going to expand its operations into watch-making, the smart money was on Bianchi. Inspired by Felice Gimondi’s World Championship win comes the Italian firm’s debut collection. Pictured is the £275, 38mm, three-hand model. Swiss-made, these sports watches are water resistant to 100m and built from polished stainless steel, a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal cover and silicone strap. This model comes in 38mm and 43mm sizes; a chronographic model is available in 43mm only. Each watch, sold in black, white or Bianchi’s own celeste colours, comes packaged in a stainless steel bidon.
