Power standard-bearer SRM’s latest model is designed around Shimano’s lighter and stiffer, four-arm, 11-speed DA9000 crankset. The 110mm BCD spider fits Shimano 53/39, 52/36 and 50/34 chainrings and maintains the 9000 series aesthetic. The defining SRM features are carried over: accuracy to within one per cent, automatic temperature compensation, and a claimed battery life of 3,000 hours (in ideal conditions), which works out at over four hours of riding per day for more than two years.
