OVO Energy Women's Tour

The Women's Tour goes from strength to strength, with a iveday extravaganza culminating in a showcase stage in central London, complete with televisual cityscape and massive crowds. The race's centre of gravity remains in the Midlands of England - Kettering, Stoke, Leamington Spa and Chester ield are the inish towns in the irst four days. The terrain is subtle and exacting, rather than epic, but there's an argument that this kind of parcours is where the best racing happens these days. If there is a queen stage, it's the fourth, over the climbs of Derbyshire, but this is a race to be won with the head, as well as the legs. Favourites will be: pretty much everybody from BoelsDolmans, especially defending champ Lizzie Deignan.
