Former track riders, Dutch/ Belgians and neo-pros would be ideal. Track riders are used to repeating accelerati­ons and understand how to do a points race. Most riders from Benelux have raced two kermessess a week for their entire adult life, so they will be the optimum riders to be able to go hard on a 10km circuit for two hours. And neo-pros just love attacking, because they haven’t gotten it out their system yet, so one or two of those will be handy.
