TOUR HISTORY

The Tour has been to La Planche des Belles Filles twice and both times the rider in yellow at the top has gone on to win the Tour. Brad Wiggins went into the lead in 2012 when he inished just behind stage-winning team-mate Chris Froome. Vincenzo Nibali won the stage here and took the yellow jersey for good in 2014.
