There’s noth­ing like a dip into the ar­chives to reveal just how much things have changed in the imag­ing in­dus­try, es­pe­cially over the last cou­ple of decades. In the late 1970s colour film had fi­nally been ac­cepted and the mak­ers of 35mm SLR cam­eras were try­ing to break into the com­mer­cial pho­tog­ra­phy mar­ket.
