This spin-off takes us to 1920s New York, where Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) has just arrived with a suitcase full of fantastic beasts. When cannery worker Jacob Kowalski (Dan Fogler) mistakenly takes the case, the creatures escape. To save the city, Scamander needs the help of a dark-wizard hunter (Katherine Waterston) and her witch sister (Alison Sudol).
