He formed The Wombats in 2003 with Matthew Murphy and Tord Øverland Knudsen while at a performing-arts college in Liverpool, England. The indie-rock band’s first album, A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, sold more than a million copies. As they get set to tour Australia from April 28, Dan Haggis shares the tracks that accompany him on the road. “I’ve spent a hilarious amount of time on transport over the years,” he says. “Sometimes a great song makes all the difference.”
