Cookies for a cause

Last year, Charlie’s Cookies raised more than $15,000 for Bangarra Dance Theatre by donating five cents from every Proud to Call Australia Home snack box distributed on Qantas domestic flights. This month, as we observe World Ovarian Cancer Day on May 8, the Australian treats company is raising funds for Ovarian Cancer Australia in the same way. You can support the cause, too, through fundraisers being held around the country, including Lunch with the Queens at Melbourne’s Mail Exchange Hotel (mailexchangehotel.com.au) on June 3 and the Nude Lunch (nudelunch.com.au), at Clarion Hotel Mackay Marina in Queensland, on September 8.
