Founder of Drunk Elephant skin care

What’s in your inflight beauty bag? Charlotte Tilbury’s Kim K.W. lipstick, Drunk Elephant Lippe balm, Too Faced mascara, hairclips and a mini toothbrush and toothpaste. How do you stay glamorous in the air? I don’t drink alcohol and I try to get plenty of sleep and drink lots of water. What’s your latest beauty discovery? Moroccanoil. It’s great for keeping my hair smooth in the humidity. What’s a budget beauty buy you love? Simple’s cleansing facial wipes. They don’t contain the essential oils that my skin doesn’t like so they’re great for travel. Do you have a favourite spa? I don’t typically visit spas but I do go to a place by my house [in Houston, Texas] called Advanced Laser Solutions and Med Spa almost daily to sit in an infra-red sauna [used to detoxify the body]. What’s one skincare trick every woman should know? You can skip the morning cleanse if your skin is still balanced and calm from washing it the night before; there’s no need to disrupt that. I find the less you mess with your skin, the better it is. What’s one thing many women get wrong? Going overboard with foundation, powder and contouring. I think it ages a woman so much. There’s no substitute for healthy, glowing bare skin – no matter your age.
