11 Novem­ber Take the time Ob­serve a minute’s si­lence at 11am at the Aus­tralian War Me­mo­rial in Can­berra (or wher­ever you are) to mark the 99th an­niver­sary of the Ar­mistice that ended the First World War. Go to awm.gov.au.

WORLD CHIL­DREN’S DAY

20 Novem­ber Make a dif­fer­ence Change the lives of vul­ner­a­ble chil­dren by donat­ing to UNICEF’s Change for Good pro­gram. Use the en­velopes on your Qan­tas flight or visit unicef.org.au/change­for­good.
