Suntory’s Yamazaki Distillery (suntory.com/factory/ yamazaki) is a 25-minute train ride from JR Osaka Station. Sample the rare blends and single malts. Then, if you’re not too tipsy, stroll through the forest to Shiio Shrine behind the distillery to see historic artefacts donated by Suntory in the hope of good production.
