Turning Point

I was born with one-sided hearing loss but despised hearing aids for a long time as the ones I tried merely amplified sounds. However, after reading ‘All About Hearing Aids’ (February), I consulted an audiologist and was recommended a CROS (contralateral routing of signal) hearing aid with super high-definition sound, background noise reduction, voice recognition and hearing protection.
