After reading ‘My Tea Does What?!’ (April), I decided to try toothpaste as a brass tarnish remover. It was so-so.

However, a menthol vapour rub cured me of toenail fungus easily. Could it remove tarnish from brass? Yes. It did a better job than the toothpaste! JOSEPHINE ARIFF
