While shopping in India, I asked the store owner for any locally made yarn. The merchant brought down a skein that was clearly marked, ‘Made in China’. I pointed it out, but he insisted I was wrong. “Oh no,” he assured me. “Only the label is made in China.” SUBMITTED BY JANE GELMAN
