Electric eel dives into Europa’s ocean

-

Marine animals such as eels and squid inspired a new robot that US scientists are developing. The submarine robot is to explore Europa’s underground ocean. It will be self-sufficient in energy, which it harvests from magnetic fields in the water. The energy powers the robot’s equipment, including cameras.
