“The Vaccine is Worse Than the Disease”

“Vaccines have side effects, and natural infection is better.” There are many myths about vaccines, but the risk of a jab is negligible compared to the diseases...

Worldwide, about 1.5 million people die each year, of diseases that could easily have been prevented by a cheap vaccine. Moreover, not one single death has been recorded to be a direct consequence of vaccination. All medical treatments can have side effects, and the "fine print" on the box of even the most ordinary cream against fungus or rash (even Viagra) warns you about the risk of fever, dizziness, etc. The same is true for vaccines, but severe side effects are very rare, and above all, the risk involved in getting the diseases that the vaccines prevent is always much higher. A good example of this is the MMR vaccine that protects against measles, mumps, and rubella. The vaccine is recommended for all children, but in recent years, unfounded scepticism has made more and more parents reject it. The most common side effects of the vaccine are fever and muscle tenderness, whereas measles alone could cause meningitis. Measles is one of the most contagious viruses, and the disease killed almost 115,000 people in 2014.
