Birds with small brains suf­fer a higher risk of be­ing killed by cars than birds with large brains, ac­cord­ing to a study cov­er­ing 3,521 birds of 251 species which were killed in traf­fic. Pi­geons are par­tic­u­larly vul­ner­a­ble.
