Mice Cured of Metabolic Disorder

American scientists use CRISPR to cure mice of tyrosine metabolism disorder, which can also cause liver failure in humans. The disease results from a mutation in the Fah gene. By injecting the CRISPR tools into mice liver cells, scientists manage to correct the mutation.
