Woman Sweated Blood From Face And Hands

-

One day in 2017, a 21-year-old Italian woman goes to see her doctor, blood running down her face. She is also bleeding from her palms, but no wounds can be seen anywhere. The woman explains that the bleeding occurs in situations where she feels stressed or nervous and has been occurring during the past three years. In these situations, it is normal to sweat, and the doctor therefore diagnoses her with hematidrosis, sweating blood. The mysterious condition has only been observed in very few people. Some researchers believe that the condition is caused by blood being pushed through the veins and into the sweat glands, where it is excreted on the skin. However, the precise cause remains unknown.

?? ?? The woman's skin shows no signs of injury that may explain the blood.
